Cristiano Ronaldo’s mum, Dolores Aveiro, has brought another dimension to a claim by an American teacher, Kathryn Mayorga, who accused him of raping her in a Las Vegas hotel room.
Aveiro did not say her son didn’t have fun with Mayorga, but she insisted she deserved and must have expected whatever she got from Ronaldo.
While Ronaldo has since denied the claims despite multiple reports that he paid her £290,000 settlement for her silence after they met, his mum said a PR unveiling in Lisbon,”’ I have confidence in my son when it comes to what happened. When she went there, it wasn’t to play cards. It was to do something. I know the son I have.”
