The Peoples Democratic Party has called on the international community to slam travel ban on Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, over a threat the governor issued to foreigners that he believes are unduly interfering in Nigeria’s election process.
El-Rufai had, on Tuesday, issued death threat to such.
He said, “Those that are calling for anyone to come and intervene in Nigeria, we are waiting for the person that would come and intervene, they would go back in body bags.”
According to the spokesperson of the PDP, Kola Ologbodiyan, el-Rufai’s statement has made a mockery of the peace accord that political parties signed, adding that PDP might pull out of it.
He called on the international community to put travel ban on the governor and his family.
