Order and sanity broke down in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on Monday as hoodlums hauled stones at the leadership of the All Progressives Congress during its presidential rally.
The hoodlums did not even mind the fact that President Buhari was at the head of the group as the stones would have hit him if his security aides had not provided cover.
In the process, the party’s Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, was hit by the violent objects.
Reports say so angry was the leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, that he left the podium when Buhari was eventually addressing the crowd.
