Juventus Midfielder, Sami Khedira, is set to undergo a surgery as the Germany midfielder was diagnosed with an atrial arrhythmia, which is irregular heartbeat.
According to mirror co.uk, Max Allegri, Juventus coach, announced this on Tuesday night, Febuary 19.
The ex-Real Madrid man was left behind for Wednesday’s Champions League tie with Atletico Madrid in Spain despite the act that 31-year-old trained with teammates earlier in the day.
The Italian champions revealed that Khedira had remained in Turin for medical examinations.
He also vowed that tonight’s clash with the Atletico Madrid would be a fight among lions.
