The Deputy Speaker of the Yobe state House of Assembly, Dr Ibrahim Kurmi, has died.
According to family sources, Kurmi died at the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital Damaturu last night Monday February 18th after a long battle with an undisclosed ailment.
He was 48 years old.
