But the threats have nothing to do with the tour.
He gave the indications that they are coming after he made a statement about President Muhammadu Buhari two days ago, wondering why anyone would want to vote him as President again.
In a tweet today, he said he had been receiving threat alerts from people he, however, didn’t identify.
