Kidnappers again struck in Osun State on Monday, attacked commuters on Iwo-Osogbo Road and abducted two workers of the Bowen University, Iwo, in the process.
Although the victims are said to be lecturers they have yet to be identified by the institution.
According to an eyewitness account, they were stopped by armed men and marched into the bush.
They also shot some of the people who tried to escape.
Spokesperson of the Osun State Police Command, Folasade Odoro, stated that the police are combing the bush to rescue the victims and apprehend the kidnapper.
