Four feared killed as Osinbajo visits Ilorin, Kwakwanso convoy attacked in Kano

Two major incidents of political violence were recorded in two states on Thursday, both reportedly involving loss of human lives.

In Ilorin Kwara State, four persons were said to have been shot when the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, visited there to round off campaign.

The Kwara State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ajayi Okasanmi, confirmed the incident said to have taken place in Isale Akuko area, although he said he did not have the details yet.

Also in Kano State,  the convoy of former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, was said to have been attacked by hoodlums at Kofa village, Bebeji Local Government Area.

While the police were said to be working to ensure normality, the attack reportedly resulted in deaths.
