Elections: Lagos CP releases phone numbers

As the police in Lagos deploy 30,000 combined security personnel for the elections, the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Zubairu Muazu, has released phone numbers on which the command can be reached during the process.
These, according to him, are Control 1: 08127155132; 07035068242
Control 2: 08127155150 and 08065154338
Control 3: 08127155071 and 08063299264.
He noted that while the police, being the lead agency in internal security management, would coordinate other security and law enforcement agencies in the enforcement of the electoral laws, the command had set up a joint operations room with the phone numbers.
He, however, assured Lagosians of adequate security before, during and after the elections. He encourages residents of the state to come out without fear of intimidation and exercise their franchise.
