Elections: FG announces two mid-term breaks for schools

The Federal Ministry of Education has made arrangements for all schools nationwide to embark on mid-term breaks for the purpose of general elections coming up this month.

 

At a stakeholders meeting with the Ministry of Education, it was agreed schools will have two “half-term breaks” to cover both the presidential and governorship elections.

 

First break from February 13th – February 18th. Classes resume on Tuesday, February 19th. Boarders return on the evening of February 18th.

 

Second “half-term break” from February 28th – March 4th. Classes resume on Tuesday, March 5th. Boarders return on the evening of March 4th.
