Controversy as two ‘tigers’ are killed in Asaba

The killing of two animals, announced as tigers, in Asaba on Monday is generating heat online.

According to Stelladimokokorkus, one  Adedoyin Debbie posted the photos of the animals and one of the killers on Facebook, but the report has sparked controversy bordering on the true identity of the beasts and the wisdom in murdering them.

One of the commentators is quick to note that the animals are civets and not tigers while others lambasted the killers of depleting the country’s wildlife.

The animals were said to have been found at the back of the Ibori Golf Club in the Delta State capital.
