Result of the House of Representatives election in the polling unit where celebrated artiste, Bankole Wellington, voted has shown that he beat All Progressives Congress’ candidate, Babajide Obanikoro.
The musician, who contested on the platform of the Modern Democratic Party, got 186 votes while APC got 167 in the same unit where the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, voted.
Both were, however, defeated by Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Omotesho Bakare, who had the highest number of votes which was 244.
