Senator Buruji Kashamu appears to be laughing last as far as the battle for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State is concerned.
While he and Senator Ladi Adebutu had been in and out of court over the matter, the Independent National Electoral Commission has named Kashamu the candidate.
His name appeared on the final list released by INEC.
He is running the race with former Special Adviser on Media to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr Reuben Abati.
