As the D-day hastens home, a lot of things are happening, suggesting tomorrow’s presidential election will be eventful.
While, in Kogi State, the police have sealed off the venue of ‘Kogi PDP elders’ are said to have planned to meet, a man, Abubakar Shettima, a resident of Duala in Dogon Dutse, Plateau State, has relocated to his polling unit at Dogon Agogo ahead of Saturday’s election.
A report indicated that the 59-year-old “wants to be the first person to cast his vote for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, as a payback for his freedom after he was falsely accused of being a member of Boko Haram in 2015.”
But in the neighbouring Ilorin, Kwara State star artiste, Davido, joined the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, where they mocked the four-year-more finger symbol of the President Muhammadu Buhari as they displayed theirs in support of Atiku Abubakar.
