The United States Embassy in Nigeria has said that it is still carrying out business in its embassy in Abuja and consulate in Lagos.
This is contrary to earlier reports that it had shut down in the spirit of the government shutdown in its home country.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the embassy said it was still conducting interviews in Abuja and Lagos.
