The Blues are not sleeping on a bicycle  as they have another target in mind during a winter window.

They are considering a move for Napoli’s Elseid Hysaj, with the player potentially available for less than his £45 million release clause as the defender wants a reunion with Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri.

Hysaj has fallen out of favour since Carlo Ancelotti’s arrival in Naples.

The Napoli boss prefers Nikola Maksimovic and Kevin Malcuit ahead of Chelsea target.

SPAL’s Manuel Lazzari has been lined up as Napoli’s replacement should they choose to cash in on Hysaj,

But the deal is complicated by the fact that Chelsea would have to offload Davide Zappacosta to make room for a new arrival.
