There are indications that the police have a made a breakthrough in their search for killers of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh (retd.).
Badeh was killed on December 18 along Abuja-Keffi road, on the way to his farm.
The incident has compounded the fear of insecurity in the country while many also regard it as a national loss, in spite of the fact that Badeh was facing corruption charges.
President Mohammadu Buhari had immediately ordered law enforcement agencies to produce his killers.
A report in ‘The Punch’, however, quoted a source this evening that the killers had been arrested and would be paraded by the police headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.
