The Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture Arts in Lagos State, Mr. Steve Ayorinde, has said that the mega concert has broadened the scope of fun that people enjoy across the state and beyond.

Speaking on the success of this year’s edition, which enters day 5 today (Saturday), Ayorinde described it as the height of fun in the festive season.

“As promised, One Lagos Fiesta is happening across the state,” he told LTV on Friday night. “I’m just back from Badagry. It is fun everywhere and people are saying it is the best thing happening to our entertainment. There are multiple concerts going on in five centres every day. The ones coming up on the 31st will be the biggest.”

Ayorinde noted that the fiesta had brought out the perspective that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode sought to establish for the art and culture sector.

He said, “This is what God Ambode is saying,  that we can take entertainment to the people. We are happy that the idea of democtarstising fun has worked out. In each division, local economy is gaining, just because OLF is bringing crowd there. We are happy about this, it is a legacy worthy of adulation. This is fantastic.”

He expressed the hope that the government that would take over from Ambode would be that of the All Progressives Congress and that it would continue the tradition.
