All eyes will be on celebrated actress, Kabirah Kafidipe, on Sunday when her Waleemah-Quran will hold in Lagos.
The programme, which marks her completion of Quranic study, is one she is very excited about as the assertion of her faith is dear to her.
It is being organised by the Monbitu Sa’adatil-Il-Miyat Arabic and Islamic Institute.
The actress popularly known as Araparegangan – a name she earned when she acted in her limelight debut movie, ‘Saworoide’, produced by her mentor, Tunde Kelani – had devoted time to the course even as she has been doing Islamic ministration on Instagram.
Phenomenallagos learnt that the Abeokuta, Ogun State-born actress, who has, alongside her sister, Aishat Kafidipe, produced some four movies, including ‘Oga’, ‘Iwa’ and ‘Malaika’, and has acted in many films, is also working on some drama/movie series with Islamic theme.
The Waleemah-Quran is holding at 20, Akinlawon Street, Off Ogunlana Street, Ijesatedo, Lagos.
