The resolve by star singers, Wizkid and Olamide, to hold their concerts in Lagos the same day is generating debates.
Because of the unique opportunities it offers, every business and brands often scramble for the soul of Lagos.
It is not too surprising that classes of interest and programmes sometimes occur.
In the case of Olamide and Wizkid, however, some observers say the clashing of the dates of their concert raises some questions.
According to a critic, Adewale Joshua, they should explore the possibility of getting one shifted.
Joshua says although he believes the state is big enough to host even more concerts the same day, the artistes ought to consider the interest of fans who would love to watch both events.
He adds, “What holding the shows the same day means is that you will present me with a difficult choice and deny me an opportunity to see the two shows if I desire so. You should also consider the issue of security especially if they are holding the programmes at the usual place of Eko Hotels.
”A report in Sunday PUNCH quotes Olamide as saying that there is no problem having the concerts the same day.
He says, “I believe the sky is big enough for all birds to fly without touching each other. I honestly don’t feel there will be any negative effect. If you switch on your television set, I am sure you have many options; so, it is left for you to decide which station you stay tuned to. That is how I see things,
