Nigerian Popular YBNL rapper and singer, Olamide stirred up serious debate among his followers on his Instagram page, after a photo he shared.
Baddo was seen in the post, which he shared with the All Progressives Congress, APC, Lagos state gubernatorial candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Almost everyone in Nigeria are aware of the bond between the rapper and the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode, as been very close.
Olamide revealed in one of his songs that featured Phyno – ‘Fada Fada’ – that Ambode is a father figure, who adopted him when his father died.
Unfortunately, Ambode lost his party’s ticket to run for second term, to Sanwo-Olu, with whom Olamide struck the pose in the photo.
It has caused both critics and fans to wonder if the rapper/singer has completely dumped Ambode for Sanwo-Olu.
Olamide has actually surprised a lot of people during the heat of the emergence of Sanwo-Olu about two months ago.
He was at the candidate’s official unveiling by the APC, causing tongues to wag that he had shifted camp.
Yet, he is not the only artistes that may have jilted Ambode.
Fuji star, Wasiu Ayinde did, especially in a video in which he not only withdraws his support but also mocks him.
Also, actor Yemi Solade has declared for Sanwo-Olu.
