Elite big institution, Chrisland Schools, may have emerged the most
acclaimed expanding school in Lagos in the recent era.
The school that clocked 40 last year, which started in a flat in the
Ladipo Oluwole area of Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, in 1987, has spread to
about six places in Lagos State, apart from its university located in
Ogun State.
Now you have Chrisland in Opebi/Ikeja, Idimu, Lekki/Ajah, all doing
greatly well as many members of the elite prefer to send their
children there.
It was founded by Dr and Mrs. Awosika. While the husband later died
while the school was still finding its feet, the woman popularly
called Mama Awosika nurtured it to the big institution it has become.
